  11. PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT - Jordan
  12.  
  13. Following the violence in Hebron on February 25, U.S. citizens are advised
  14. to exercise caution in their movements in Jordan and to avoid east Amman,
  15. the downtown Souk area in Amman, and any refugee camp.  While we have no
  16. information on specific threats to American citizens, two non-American
  17. tourists have been attacked in separate incidents on February 25 and 27 in
  18. downtown Amman.
